Checking-In LGBTQ+ Champions in Hospitality 2026

We’re back for 2026! Following the success of our previous lists, we are thrilled to launch this year’s Checking-In LGBTQ+ Champions, celebrating 10 outstanding individuals driving inclusion and equality across the hospitality sector.

This annual recognition has become a key fixture in the Checking-In calendar, shining a spotlight on those making a lasting difference for the LGBTQ+ community within our industry.

Now it’s your chance to nominate someone who goes above and beyond to support LGBTQ+ inclusion. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged!

Nominees should:

• Be a visible advocate and role model for the LGBTQ+ community within hospitality.

• Work within the hospitality sector (including, but not limited to, hotels, restaurants, bars, venues, serviced apartments, co-working spaces, contract catering, and more).

• Champion LGBTQ+ rights, inclusion, and initiatives in their workplace and the wider industry.

• Positively impact the LGBTQ+ community and contribute to a more inclusive workplace.

• Promote hospitality as a diverse and welcoming industry.

Please note: Previous champions listed in 2023, 2024 or 2025 are not eligible—double-check your nomination on our Hospitality Champions page.

Nominations close on Monday 8th May 2026. Our panel of judges will review submissions, and our 2026 Champions will be notified ahead of the celebration on Thursday 28th May 2026 at South Place Hotel, London.
